The 27th Annual Western BCA 9-Ball Championships are scheduled for October 11–18, 2026, at the Chinook Winds Casino Resort in Lincoln City, Oregon.

K-Ball in cue sports is a continuous rotation pool game featuring a standard 15-ball rack, called shots, and a cue ball in hand rule after every single miss.

The Rack and Break

• The Rack: All 15 object balls are racked with stripes and solids split like in 8-ball, with one ball at the apex and specific corner balls.
• Legal Break: You must break hard enough for a total of three balls to cross the head string or be pocketed.
• Break Results: Pocking a ball on a legal break gives you cue ball in hand anywhere on the table. If no ball is pocketed on the break, your opponent gets cue ball in hand.

Core Gameplay Rules

• Rotation and Calling Pockets: You must hit the lowest numbered ball on the table first, and every single pocket must be called explicitly.
• Miss Penalty: After any missed shot, your opponent receives cue ball in hand anywhere on the table.
• No Safety Play: Safety shots are strictly prohibited under standard K-Ball guidelines.
• Scoring: Every legally pocketed ball counts as one point, and matches are typically played to a target score like 25 or 50 points.
• Continuing the Game: Once all 15 balls are cleared from the table, they are re-racked, and the player who pocketed the final ball breaks the next rack.
• Play continues until a player reaches their point goal. The winning player may also keep shooting past their goal to work on their high run.

Generalidades
El K-Ball es una modalidad de billar de rotación continua que utiliza una formación estándar de 15 bolas, requiere anunciar los tiros y aplica la regla de "bola en mano" tras cada fallo.

La formación y el saque

La formación: Se colocan las 15 bolas objetivo alternando lisas y rayadas (como en el billar de bola 8), con una bola en el vértice y bolas específicas en las esquinas.
Saque válido: El saque debe realizarse con la fuerza suficiente para que un total de tres bolas crucen la línea de salida o sean embocadas.
Resultados del saque: Embocar una bola en un saque válido otorga "bola en mano" en cualquier lugar de la mesa. Si no se emboca ninguna bola en el saque, el oponente recibe la "bola en mano".
Reglas fundamentales del juego

Rotación y anuncio de troneras: Se debe golpear primero la bola de menor numeración presente en la mesa, y cada tronera debe anunciarse explícitamente.
Penalización por fallo: Tras cualquier tiro fallido, el oponente recibe "bola en mano" en cualquier lugar de la mesa.

Starting today we will also have tournaments leading up to the Labor Day 15-Ball event to get used to the format using lower stakes.
